We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Yeahp, once again we kick off issue #2 of the miniseries with my beloved and very frequently used narrative approach of "first page featuring five slightly ambiguous panoramic panels setting up the next page's single-panel 'splash' image." 

Panel 3: My own high school experience, while not exactly ideal, was pretty positive overall, unlike that of many comics creators I know. (Elementary school was my personal hell; every subsequent stage of schooling and post-graduation life proved to be a dramatic improvement by comparison.)

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used.
