We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Continuing a commentary thread from yesterday, my initial impulse to cram as many wacky "scholastic hellscape" scenarios as possible into this miniseries ultimately proved mistaken if not outright disastrous on several different levels, not least of which was unwisely stretching this cavalcade of infernal shenanigans out to an insupportable length of six g-d issues. If I'd limited the miniseries to a more reasonable five issues, the scheduling and deadline issues confronting us by the end of the project could've been avoided; alas, that was not the case.
