We continue serialization of Empowered vol. 12, which proved to be the final volume of the series in this specific graphic-novel format, though I was unaware of that unfortunate reality when I started work on the book.

Panels 3-4: The unspoken idea with all of Spooky's magical manipulation of hat and boba tea is that she grew so used to wielding telekinesis (or "psychokinesis", per the late SF author Julian May's Many-Colored Land series from the 80s) to compensate for her missing arm that she's unconsciously continuing to do so despite her regrown limb.
